TPE contributes to improving patients\u2019 health and quality of life, as well as that of their families, provided it is delivered through a structured program.&#8221; (World Health Organization definition)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are <strong>32 officially declared Therapeutic Patient Education<\/strong> programs at the Nancy University Hospital (CHRU). <strong>More than 200 healthcare professionals<\/strong> are involved and trained in therapeutic education, including disease-specific doctors and nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physical activity instructors, psychologists, social workers, nursery nurses, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information about the Therapeutic Patient Education programs at Nancy University Hospital, Education<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patients and\/or patient associations are also involved in certain programs, such as AFA Crohn RCH France \u2014 a key partner of the IHU Infiny \u2014 in the EDU MICILOR program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why join this program?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does this program work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An initial interview allows us to conduct a personalized educational assessment to best address your needs and expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several sessions may be offered, covering specific topics designed to help you better manage daily life with the disease, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding the disease, its effects, and possible complications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowing your treatment and the importance of adherence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrating the disease into your personal and socio-professional life, and interacting with your family and friends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practicing self-injection techniques if your treatment requires injectable medication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Enrollment in the EDU MICILOR program, authorized by the Regional Health Agency, entitles you to personalized individual sessions, group sessions, skill monitoring, and reinforcement sessions if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All sessions take place at the Brabois site of Nancy University Hospital<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns
