{"id":2919,"date":"2024-11-25T14:06:37","date_gmt":"2024-11-25T13:06:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ihu-infiny.fr\/non-classifiee\/conclusion-of-the-ihu-infiny-2024-days\/"},"modified":"2025-05-05T10:45:50","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T08:45:50","slug":"conclusion-of-the-ihu-infiny-2024-days","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ihu-infiny.fr\/en\/news\/conclusion-of-the-ihu-infiny-2024-days\/","title":{"rendered":"Conclusion of the IHU Infiny 2024 Days!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The week of IHU Days comes to a close with a final reflection on the conference held on Friday, November 15, 2024. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Mathieu Klein<\/strong>, President of the Greater Nancy Metropolitan Area and Mayor of Nancy; <strong>H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Boulanger<\/strong>, President of the University of Lorraine; <strong>Arnaud Vanneste<\/strong>, Director General of the Nancy Regional University Hospital (CHRU); <strong>Eric Simon<\/strong>, Inserm Est Regional Delegate; and <strong>S\u00e9bastien Descotes-Genon<\/strong>, Regional Academic Delegate for Research and Innovation, opened the day&#8217;s proceedings by highlighting the ambition of this project, which is bringing hope to IBD patients.<\/p>\n\n<p>After an intense first year, Prof. <strong>Laurent Peyrin-Biroulet<\/strong> provided a comprehensive overview of the IHU&#8217;s activities, while unveiling exciting new prospects for better understanding and combating IBD.<\/p>\n\n<p>Highlights included :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The announcement of strategic partnerships: with Afa Crohn RCH France, in the presence of its President, <strong>Corinne Devos<\/strong>, and Managing Director, <strong>Anne Buisson <\/strong>; with GETAID, represented by its President, <strong>David Laharie<\/strong>; and with StemInov, represented by its CEO, <strong>Julie Hutin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rewarding discussions on prevention, the role of nutrition, and innovations in the food sector. Special thanks to the speakers: <strong>Nelly Agrinier<\/strong> (Universit\u00e9 de Lorraine &#8211; CHRU de Nancy), <strong>M\u00e9lanie Deschasaux-Tanguy<\/strong> (Inserm-EREN), <strong>Benoit Chassaing<\/strong> (Inserm, Institut Pasteur), <strong>Dj\u00e9sia Arnone<\/strong> (Inserm &#8211; NGERE), <strong>B\u00e9n\u00e9dicte Caron<\/strong> (CHRU de Nancy), <strong>St\u00e9phane Desobry<\/strong> (ENSAIA &#8211; Ecole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure d&#8217;Agronomie et des Industries Alimentaires), <strong>Pierre Malingrey<\/strong> (Quipment), <strong>Marie Maison<\/strong> (Incubateur Lorrain), <strong>Cyril Thouret<\/strong> (St Hubert), <strong>Vincent Boude<\/strong> (Qualtech Groupe), and <strong>Emma Royer<\/strong> (CHRU de Nancy). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributions from <strong>Beno\u00eet Labarthe<\/strong> (Agence de l&#8217;Innovation en Sant\u00e9) and <strong>Franck Mouthon<\/strong> (Inserm) on the challenges of development and the State\u2019s commitment to research and innovation in healthcare.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inspiring testimonials from Michelin-starred chef <strong>Charles Coulombeau<\/strong>, who shared his vision of the link between food and health, and <strong>Pierre-Louis Attwell<\/strong> (Vogue avec un Crohn).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Concluding remarks from Professors <strong>Patrick Netter<\/strong> and <strong>Jean-Yves Le D\u00e9aut<\/strong>. The day ended with a final word from the patient, thanks to Pierre-Louis Attwell, who revealed the theme for our next edition: physical activity. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>A big thank you to <strong>Nathalie Milion<\/strong>, who hosted the day with excellence, to our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihu-infiny.fr\/en\/news\/partners-and-sponsors\/\"><strong>partners and sponsors<\/strong><\/a>, and to the entire team who helped organize this event and make it such a success!<\/p>\n\n<p>During the lunch break, guests had the opportunity to explore the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inserm.fr\/culture-scientifique\/exposition-la-sante-dans-notre-assiette\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Inserm exhibition<\/strong><\/a> \u2018<strong>La sant\u00e9 dans notre assiette<\/strong>\u2019 (Health on Our Plate) in the cocktail area.
