SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Submissions must conform to established standards of independence, transparency, and confidentiality. They should strictly adhere to legal and regulatory requirements concerning the promotion of health products and must avoid mentioning any commercial names of drugs. Authors are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data they present.

Format and Structure:

  • Language: all abstracts must be submitted in English
  • Character Limit: each abstract should adhere to a 4,000-character limit, excluding titles for sections such as Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions
  • Content Structure: please structure your abstract to include the following sections:
    – Background: provide context or rationale for the study.
    – Methods: describe the study design and methodology.
    – Results: present key findings (note: results should be complete; pending results are not acceptable).
    – Conclusions: draw conclusions that are directly supported by the results.
  • Spacing and formatting: the abstract text should be single-spaced and typed in lowercase without any formatting in the title.

Submission Details:

  • Author Information: Include names and affiliations for all authors.
  • Abbreviations: Use only standard and widely accepted abbreviations.
  • Visual Aids: Tables, diagrams, or figures are allowed if they clarify your presentation. Photographs are not permitted.
  • Encore Abstracts: Submissions of encore abstracts, previously presented at other conferences, are permitted.

Additional Components:

  • Acknowledgments and Funding: Include any acknowledgments, funding sources, or references as necessary. References should be prepared for the final poster.

Important notes:

  • Abstracts must present conclusions that are substantiated by the results included in the submission. Speculative results or discussions on pending conclusions are not acceptable for submission.
  • Anonymity is crucial during both the electronic submission process and within the abstract itself. Refrain from including any information that could reveal the identity of the authors or the origin of the work, such as geographical locations, the nationality of cases, names of institutions, or similar details in the titles or body of the abstract.
  • All authors and co-authors are required to declare and/or update their conflict-of-interest statements by August 25, 2025. Declarations should be made through [email protected]. To streamline the process, authors or co-authors involved in multiple abstracts need submit only one declaration of conflict of interest. This declaration will automatically apply to all entries associated with the author.
  • Note for poster presentations: the Organizing Committee will take care of printing, delivery, and display.

Ensure that your abstract submission complies with these guidelines to facilitate a smooth review process and enhance the presentation’s impact at the Symposium.
